The Tanzatoto foundation operates with the special permission of the department Dedicated Education of the Tanzanian Ministry of Education. The Ministry wishes to put Tanzatoto’s methods to general use across the country and will facilitate us to this purpose.
In Holland Tanzatoto is part of a large network of organisations that show a commitment to health care for the handicapped. Members of this network are for example the Lilianefonds, the Dutch Institute for Care and Wellbeing, the Dutch Coalition for Disability and Development and the Shubi foundation (an organisation for hearing rehabilitation). Tanzatoto is supported by the Centraal Missie Commissariaat, which cooperates closely with organisations such as Cordaid, OCCO and Novib.
